Man arrested over attempt to kill police officer in Derry

Detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating an under vehicle improvised explosive device that was placed under the car of a serving police officer in Eglinton on June 18, 2015 have arrested a 30 year old man.

Detective Chief John Caldwell said: "The man has been taken to Musgrave PSNI where he is assisting police with their enquiries."
