The Jazz Festival runs over the Bank Holiday Weekend from May 2 to May 6 this year and has grown to become one of the biggest of its kind in northern Europe.

6. The Bear Run at Ebrington Square. 9am, May 4
The Bear Run will see up to 70 Super Cars and American Muscle Cars on display for car lovers to get up close and personal with these top of the range cars and snap a few photos with these great motors. The cars will then take off and travel around the Causeway Coastal Route in aid of Angel Wishes 'Helping Children Smile Again' charity. 7. Rock the Boat World Record Challenge at Shipquay Street. 11.30am, May 4.
Want to join others in bidding to be a world record holder? Make sure to come along to Derry's attempt to break the world record for the biggest 'rock the boat' to the 1973 hit Rock the Boat by Wally Holmes. 8. Paul McIntyre & Special Guests will be playing at the Playhouse. 3pm, May 5.
Paul McIntyre plays piano and sax in the Paul McIntyre Quartet. Hugh Buckley (guitar, Dublin), Rodolfo Cervetto (drums, Genoa, Italy), and Dan Bodwell (double bass, USA) are happy to join Paul. This amazing quartet will play hits from the Modern Jazz and Hard Bop eras as well as songs from the Great American Songbook.
